چکیده

Abstract Many soil microorganisms’ i.e., bacteria and fungi produce secondary metabolites called antibiotics. These are used for the treatment of some bacterial, fungal protozoal diseases humans. There is a need isolation broad spectrum antibiotics from microorganisms due to emergence antibiotic resistance. In present study two producing Klebsiella pneumoniae Bacillus cereus were isolated pharmaceutical poultry feed industry Hattar, Haripur Pakistan. Total 10 waste samples collected different industries (Marble, Ghee, Soap, Mineral, Steel, Poultry Feed, Pharmaceutical, Qarshi, Cosmetic Glass). Thirty-three bacterial strains industrial wastes these ten industries. Fourteen out thirty-three exhibited antimicrobial activities against at least one test microbes considered in this including Escherchia coli, Staphylococcus aureus Salmonella typhi. The by standard serial dilution spread plate technique. Morphological characterization isolates was done Gram staining. Nine fourteen initially identified as B. five K. through biochemical characterization. antibacterial tested well diffusion method. Maximum number based on results primary screening, most potential S9, S19, S20, S22 S23 selected screening. maximum activity E. coli S. recorded isolate S19 i.e zones inhibition 6.5mm 9mm while S20 showed 7.5mm 6mm respectively. Molecular identification carried basis 16S rRNA sequence analysis. Finally, accession LC538271and MT078679. Analysis extract GC-MS indicated presence 8 compounds diverse nature structure. Present suggests that may have bacteria. could be utilized production control microbial growth.

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

Antibacterial, antioxidant, antifungal and anti-inflammatory activities of crude extract from Nitraria schoberi fruits

This study is the first comprehensive investigation of the antibacterial, antioxidant, antifungal and anti-inflammatory activities of a crude extract from Nitraria schoberi L. (Zygophyllaceae) fruits. The extract was tested against four Gram-negative (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterobacter aerogenes, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Acinetobacter lwoffii) and one Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus) ba...
